Our pre-purchase surveys are carried out prior to signing contracts for both new and existing properties. This survey is an important measure to have carried out as a property may be sold with critical structural defects that are not apparent to the potential purchaser. The potential purchaser can still purchase a defective property, but at least the potential purchaser has been informed of the defect prior to purchase. A substantial defect may endanger the life of the potential purchaser and in addition the potential purchaser may be able to negotiate on the value of the property.  Examples of defects that may not be apparent to a purchaser are shown below.
